Pastel -Not only for your cheeks

How do you feel about the pastel trend that is about to encompass our lives? I’m honestly incredibly happy to replace last years’ neon with almost anything, and subtle pastels are where fashion is headed. The sky is the limit this year – keep your fall jackets, but pair them with a pastel pink top and a set of heels. You have my permission, as well as Jason Wu’s and Rebecca Taylor’s. Layering is still incredibly on-trend, as are prints and textures. Keep things subtle, but don’t be afraid to express your individuality. Wide-Legged trousers were a hit on the runways for Spring/Summer, 2014. All of the girls’ in the big city are wearing them – from gauchos, trousers, solids, plaids, and vibrant markings, you will certainly be seeing a lot of them this year. Wide-legged trousers are being seen more, but they actually aren’t a trend – they are timeless. They aren’t only for six-foot-tall girls – a higher waist is sure to elongate your frame.
